Insight Accommodation
A total number of 30 accommodation units are offered at Insight Ahangama with 26 air-conditioned sea view rooms and 4 non air-conditioned non sea view rooms. Each room includes a balcony while guests can enjoy views of the lush green garden that stretches up to the golden sandy beaches of Ahangama. All rooms include an attached toilet and bath that offers hot and cold running water. 3 of the air-conditioned rooms are offered as triples while there are 3 sets of rooms with interconnected rooms for large groups.
Insight Facilities
The restaurant of Insight Ahangama is built according to an open and elevated concept providing pleasing sea views from every single table. Offering a wide variety of cuisine that includes a choice of Asian, Sri Lankan and Western meals, the restaurant can accommodate up to 160 guests at one sitting. For the benefit of longer staying guests, the a la carte menu is extended to a few Italian, Thai, Indonesian and Indian dishes as well. Snacks, bites and finger food are a specialty during lunch time.
Insight Ahangama also houses a well stocked lobby bar which is located overlooking the pool. The bar includes a wide range of local and foreign liquor, wine and Champaign. Guests can enjoy tasty Sri Lankan cocktails made with local spirits.
The outdoor swimming pool at Insight Ahangama is located in the garden area with sun beds and a pool bar where you can enjoy cocktails after a long and lazy swim or a quick dip. Complementary pool towels are available. There is a separate kiddie’s pool as well. For light entertainment purposes Insight offers varied theme nights with different choice of cuisine and music.
Themes include Sri Lankan night, International Buffet, Fisherman's Grill, Flavor of Chinese and a BBQ night. Entertainment programs are not assured on the days of low occupancy. Recreational facilities include Backgammon, Carom, Chess, Cricket, Darts, Draughts, Frisbee, minipool, Playing cards, Scrabble, Table Tennis and Volleyball.
